2024 Kyoto Horizon International Art Exhibition

2024 Horizon日本京都國際藝術展將再次迎來全新的展覽呈現思路與方式，Horizons-地平線”；目光所能觸及到但永遠到達不了的邊界。結合過往經驗與當下環境，將目光聚集至對人的情感、尊嚴、價值、命運的維護、追求和關切的作品之上，更為注重展覽整體呈現，體現人文情懷。

2024 Horizon日本京都國際藝術展，將于9月3日- 9月8日在京都國際交流會館隆重舉行。本屆參展機構有來自英國、美國、加拿大、西班牙、比利時、荷蘭、瑞典、日本、韓國、中國等全球30余家機構和藝術家作品。

COVID-19疫情封控期間，嚴厲的管控讓我不能去工作室工作，只能呆在家里在網購留下的廢品包裝紙盒上畫畫，產生了數量很多的一系列作品。這些作品總稱《廢品記》。

我在我的作品中構筑起了一個奇幻樂園，在這個世界里，動物們可以肆意而行，魚長出了雙腳，人在天上飛，大樹生長在云上，一切看起來都是荒誕而不合邏輯的，卻非常融洽而自然。它們不是烏托邦，充其量只是一個個五彩斑斕的肥皂泡。作品里的“它們”有著自己獨特的時間與空間氛圍，這里面當然有博斯、基里科、夏加爾、達利等諸多西方藝術大師的影響，另一方面村上春樹的小說是我另一個靈感的來源，比如說他在作品里多次提到的“出口”與“入口”，就是類似于一種超時空的“場”，而這些理念與我的創作是有不謀而合的地方。我把這些獨特的時空觀貫徹到作品中，它是我作品的內核所在。

"Fictive Cosmos" draws its inspiration from the artist's son's vivid dream. In the dream, the stars awaken and reveal a mesmerizing spectacle. The celestial bodies seem imbued with emotions and consciousness, transforming into unique, vibrant life forms. The universe becomes a thriving home, with the stars of the Milky Way acting as nurturing parents to the minor planets and other interstellar beings.

During the creative process, the artist delved into "The Book of Disquiet" by Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa, which profoundly explores the boundaries between reality and fiction, as well as the essence of existence.
