藝術(shù)家自述/Artist Statement
在我的繪畫中沒有一個明確的主題,我力圖表現(xiàn)出我日常所接收到的圖像的混亂感。我們所看到的圖像很多時候是和文字一同出現(xiàn)的,脫離了文字它可能顯示的是另外一層意思。當(dāng)我將這些圖像的局部組合在一起時它本來的含義進一步的被削減了,它可能看起來非常的抽象,但是它的確又是一張圖片。另外,我想與一般意義上的繪畫拉開差距。比如風(fēng)景畫、人物畫、或者是表現(xiàn)空間,時間的繪畫。我的繪畫里面這些元素可能都存在,它呈現(xiàn)出來的信息是十分豐富的。
在構(gòu)圖方面,我的繪畫是去除了視覺中心的。當(dāng)我看到大量的圖像時我的眼睛無法聚焦到一個地方,我甚至不知道它要傳達什么,這種感受啟發(fā)了我在創(chuàng)作時將畫面的視覺中心拋棄掉。事實上,我們就生活在這樣一個環(huán)境里面。大量的圖像造成我們視覺上接受的過載。我想把我感受到的“真實”表現(xiàn)出來。
在色彩上面,我是把整張畫看成一張圖像考慮的,所以我將畫面統(tǒng)一為一個色調(diào)。色調(diào)或是藍色或是綠色,沒有特定的含義。這種色彩上的統(tǒng)一和畫面圖像的混亂形成一種拉扯讓我十分著迷。
我個人創(chuàng)作時利用的都是現(xiàn)成的圖像,圖像與圖像之間的覆蓋,就像日常的新聞一樣,今天的被明天的在覆蓋掉。當(dāng)我們遠看這些被拆分然后又被重組的圖像時它顯現(xiàn)出一種明確的抽象感,但我們近看時又能發(fā)現(xiàn)具象的元素。這正是我追求的一種效果,一種具有陌生感和含混不清的繪畫。
There is no clear theme in my painting. I try to show the confusion of the images I receive everyday. The image we see often appears together with the text, which may show another meaning without the text. When I combine the parts of these images together, its original meaning is further reduced. It may look very abstract, but it is a picture. In addition, I want to open a gap with painting in the general sense. For example, landscape painting, figure painting, or painting of space and time. These elements may exist in my painting, and the information it presents is very rich.
In terms of composition, my painting has removed the visual center. When I see a large number of images, my eyes can't focus on a place, and I don't even know what it is going to convey. This feeling inspired me to abandon the visual center of the image when I created it. In fact, we live in such an environment. A large number of images cause our visual acceptance overload. I want to show the "truth" I feel.
In terms of color, I consider the whole picture as an image, so I unify the picture into one tone. There is no specific meaning to the hue, either blue or green. This kind of unity in color and the confusion of the picture and image form a kind of pull that fascinates me very much.
When I personally create, I use ready-made images. The coverage between images is like daily news. Today's images are covered by tomorrow's. When we look far at these split and then recombined images, it shows a clear sense of abstraction, but when we look closely, we can find concrete elements. This is a kind of effect that I pursue, a kind of painting with strangeness and ambiguity.
