受“回歸—2017湖畔跨媒介國際藝術展”策展人張平杰老師的邀請，藝術家施少平于2017年金秋時節于上海大觀園梅園湖畔藝術館創作推出了他莫非系列作品的又一妙作——“莫非·雨雪”。此次展覽匯集了眾多海內外著名藝術家，其中，藝術家施少平巧妙構思為晚清古宅的“天井”添上不經意的“神來一筆”，因地制宜，取材自然，充分展示了以中國文化為根基，當代藝術精神為引領的生活方式和藝術理念。

       “莫非·雨雪”顧名思義作品含有雨雪元素，身臨這么一座精美晚清古院落中，藝術家施少平借兩處“天井”再現了中國古代建筑藝術中智慧奇妙之處。天井在舊時是老宅采光最主要的構造，客廳又被稱作“明堂”，于是就有了“四水歸明堂”之說，讓上天飄蕩而下的一切充滿靈性之物歸于老宅，是人們對自然的一種美好企盼。天井使得大自然嵌入院落，人們足不出戶，即可將日月星辰盡收眼底，倍覺渾然一體，心曠神怡，這是藝術上的奇巧精妙，又是視覺效果上的奇景，文化蘊涵深沉獨到。

      “雨雪”在兩處天井中同時呈現，將空間巧妙結合，使環境趣味化，這“天空之井”仿佛打開了通向自然的玄妙之門，能拾起陽光一片，又可觸碰天下雨雪，能見四時運行，寒來暑往，方寸天地，自得其樂，坐井觀天，身處高墻內，運籌帷幄中，是多少人絕塵世間而慎獨隱逸的絕妙享受，白云遮角，鳥鳴屋檐，與自然的陽光，空氣，雨雪……融為一體，獨享一方天地間的自然大道的“回歸”。

       Containing both the elements of rain and snow, this work brings you to a delicate ancient yard which represents the marvelous wisdom of ancient building arts of China via the construction of two courtyards. As the most important daylighting-collecting structure of ancient buildings, courtyard is also called "Bright Hall" which leaves us the old saying that "water and light from all sides are converging at the light yard". It implies that all the spiritual things from heaven are going back to the ancient hall, which also symbolize people's best wish of the Nature. Embedding the Nature within, the yard is able to present people the sun, moon and stars without going outside, which gives people a sense of harmony, unity as well as complete relax and happy. This is both the delicacy in arts and wonderful sight in visual effects with deep and unique culture elements implied inside. With rain and snow being presented at the two yards at the same time, it has combined the space in a clever way and made the environment more interesting. It seems that this "Well of Heaven" has opened the mysterious door to the Nature and collected millions of sunlight. People are able to touch the rain and snow, sense the time running, feel the cycle of four seasons and enjoy the happiness with themselves in this square inch of the world. Though sitting at the well and surrounded by the high walls, people can still enjoy the beautiful sky and have everything under control, which is just the marvelous secluded enjoyment many people pursue outside the world. Appreciating the covering cloud and hearing the singing bird under roof, people is become a part of the nature together with sunshine, air, rain, snow and others and truly feel the sense of "Returning" to the Nature at this square between heaven and earth alone.
