       （2010年7月10日）經(jīng)過(guò)精心籌備，由國(guó)際著名策展人巫鴻策劃的《盛夏：曾浩畫展》即將于9月11日-10月31日在天安時(shí)間當(dāng)代藝術(shù)中心肅裝亮相。展覽將展出曾浩歷經(jīng)四年深入思考、潛心探索的全新轉(zhuǎn)型之作，非常值得期待！它不僅預(yù)示著曾浩藝術(shù)探索中的一個(gè)新的階段，更表達(dá)了在觀念主義逐漸失去先鋒性和思考力的當(dāng)下，藝術(shù)家和天安時(shí)間對(duì)中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)“回歸繪畫”主題的提示性探討。

        曾浩，作為上個(gè)世紀(jì)90年代中期中國(guó)觀念主義繪畫運(yùn)動(dòng)的代表，與同時(shí)代的張曉剛、方力鈞、王廣義、岳敏君等一起，成為中國(guó)當(dāng)代藝術(shù)史中最重要也最具影響力的藝術(shù)家，并一直活躍至今。其作品具有獨(dú)特的內(nèi)省氣質(zhì)和心理因素，特別是將日常生活中眾多元素的平面化、無(wú)機(jī)性及失真式重組，呈現(xiàn)出一種人與人、人與環(huán)境之間的近距離“疏離”感，一方面指向個(gè)性化的存在狀態(tài)，更重要的是表述了對(duì)虛擬化和異化的當(dāng)代中國(guó)精神現(xiàn)實(shí)的隱喻性批判。在對(duì)雕塑、裝置等立體空間進(jìn)行了大膽嘗試并取得不錯(cuò)的反響后，曾浩毅然重回繪畫領(lǐng)域，新作中人物主體的放大、自然生命的出現(xiàn)、人與環(huán)境間“親密”關(guān)系的隱顯以及與傳統(tǒng)意味的潛在關(guān)聯(lián)，都是藝術(shù)家對(duì)當(dāng)今社會(huì)文化的積極反饋，必將為觀者帶來(lái)新鮮的心理體驗(yàn)。

"Summer: Zeng Hao Solo Exhibition" to Open at the Beijing Center for the Arts

(July 10, 2010) After careful preparation, "Summer: Zeng Hao Solo Exhibition", planned by the internationally renowned curator Wu Hung, will be held September 11 - October 31 at the Beijing Center for the Arts. This exhibition will feature Zeng Hao’s brand-new works throughout his four years of deep thinking and tireless exploration. You will not be disappointed. The show not only indicates a new phase in Zeng Hao’s artistic creation, but more importantly expresses the exploration of the Beijing Center for the Arts in the subject of the "return-to-painting" of Chinese contemporary art, regarding the situation of the weakening conceptualism at the moment.

Zeng Hao is representative of the Chinese conceptualist painting movement in the mid 90s and he has become one of the most important and influential artists in the modern Chinese contemporary art history together with other prestigious painters from that time including Zhang Xiaogang, Fang Lijun, Wang Guangyi, and Yue Minjun. He has always been an active painter. His works are characterized by unique introspective temperament and psychological factors. Particularly by restructuring the daily-life elements in a planar, inorganic and distorted way, he depicts the intimate “estrangement” among people and between people and the environment. On the one hand it points to the status of personal existence, and more importantly, it expresses a hidden criticism of the virtualized and alienated spiritual reality in the contemporary Chinese society. After his bold attempts and remarkable success in sculpture, installations and other three-dimensional art forms, Zeng Hao decided to come back to painting. The zoom-in on people, the appearance of natural life, the “intimacy” between people and the environment and the underlying connection with traditions that define Zeng Hao’s new works are all his positive feedbacks on today's society and culture, which will surely bring a fresh spiritual experience for the visitors.
